Cookie Notice
What we store on your device, why, and for how long.
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies include browser local storage. This notice lists every cookie and similar technology that AI Value Ledger uses, based on a review of the live site and its code.
Summary
We use only strictly necessary cookies. Public pages, including the home page, the AI Pulse, the Knowledge Base and the contact form, set no cookies at all. A single first-party cookie is set when an authorized client signs in to the portal, so that the portal can keep you securely signed in.
Cookies we use
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration | Set by / when |

sb-jnqdjdcqecblnavpvepn-auth-token (may be split into .0, .1 … when large) | Keeps an authorized client signed in to the client portal and lets the server confirm who is making each request. | Strictly necessary · first-party cookie | Up to 400 days, renewed while you use the portal; removed when you sign out | AI Value Ledger (Supabase authentication), only after you sign in |
What we do not use
- No analytics cookies or analytics scripts.
- No advertising, retargeting or social-media pixels.
- No session-replay or heat-map tools.
- No third-party font requests: fonts are self-hosted with the site.
- No cookies on public pages (home, AI Pulse, Knowledge Base, Contact and similar); the explainer video and templates are served from our own domain.
- No browser localStorage or sessionStorage written by the application.
Why there is no cookie banner
Under the EU ePrivacy Directive (Article 5(3)) and the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, consent is not required for storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service the user has explicitly requested. Signing in to the client portal is such a service, and the session cookie is used only for that purpose. Because we use no non-essential cookies, we do not show a consent banner. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, such as analytics, we will update this notice and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
Server logs and hosting
Like any website, our hosting provider processes technical data such as IP addresses in server logs to deliver and secure the site. That processing does not store anything on your device and is described in our Privacy Notice. When you submit the AI Pulse, we keep a one-way hash of your connection address, not the address itself, to limit repeated submissions.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the sign-in cookie, the client portal will not work, but the public site will. Signing out removes the session cookie.
